For: Mayors, health officers, and selected city government officials of highly-urbanized cities
Using the “Bridging Leadership” Framework, the one-and-a-half year program helps city health leaders address social determinants of health, such as education and livelihood, due to their impact on the health status of communities. The program enables city leaders to build, strengthen, and sustain inter-sectoral partnerships to deal with different socio-economic issues. Its goal is to decrease glaring health inequities between the rich and the poor in most cities.
This program is a combination of ZFF’s Municipal Leadership and Governance Program and the Short Course on Urban Health Equity developed and implemented by the Department of Health and the Development Academy of the Philippines.
