For: Mayors, Municipal Health Officers, and municipal population or reproductive health officers who have completed an earlier ZFF training program
Based on ZFF’s reports from local government units, a significant number of maternal deaths are related to high risk pregnancies of women who are either too young (younger than 19 years), too old (over 35 years) or have had five or more pregnancies. Such deaths can be prevented by risk awareness and reproductive health and family planning programs. ZFF designed a leadership formation program to intensify health systems for family planning campaigns.
Using the “Bridging Leadership” Framework, this program consists of technical workshops and leadership coaching to improve local governance for family planning programs.
