For: Municipal Mayors, Municipal Health Officers, and either a socio-civic leader, barangay health worker president, or municipal health councilor
This is the municipal-level training program where ZFF launched its Health Change Model. The four-module two-year program helps leaders to address complex health issues by actively working with their stakeholders. Participants are taught about the “Bridging Leadership” Framework of ownership, co-ownership, and co-creation to systemically deal with health issues.
Between training modules, health leaders are mentored on how to improve local health systems, emphasizing on the World Health Organization’s six building blocks: 1) leadership and governance, 2) financing, 3) access to medicines and technology, 4) workforce, 5) health information system and 6) service delivery.
This is the program for ZFF’s prototype local government units where the Health Change Model was piloted under its “Community Health Partnership Program.”
