Regional Associate for Regions 4B and 5

Job Description

This position is under The Challenge Initiative (TCI), one of ZFF’s partnership programs on adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH), which focuses on reducing teenage pregnancies.

The Regional Associate is responsible for the Bridging Leadership-Philippine Population Management Program (BLPPMP) activities in the region assigned. S/he is accountable for the relevant indicators for the region, especially that of the TCI city.

Under the supervision of the BL-PPMP project manager, the RAO will lead the implementation of the leadership, technical, and coaching interventions for the program. As training coordinator, s/he will ensure seamless training and coaching activities at the regional, provincial, city, and municipal levels. S/he will also lead and ensure the quality of training and practicum activities for the regional personnel in coordination with TCI BLPPMP’s learning and development associate, and coach and mentor regional personnel in the conduct and quality assurance of training and practicum activities in TCI cities.

The RAO may lead, co-lead, or take part in knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation activities at the regional and city levels.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in health and development sector, with good understanding of family planning, and maternal and child health
  • At least 24 masteral units in public health, local health system, community development, or related studies

Qualifications

  • Must have competent to exemplar skills in project implementation, training management, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity-building activities.
