The Project Associate is responsible for the implementation of the project activities in the province of Samar and liaise with stakeholders in Region 8 and United Nations agencies, as may be required by project manager.

The associate will ensure proper implementation of Health Leadership and Governance Program (HLGP) deliverables in the current areas (refer to attached AWP). The associate will directly engage, coach, and monitor the provincial teams in HLGP. The associate will represent the project team in project activities, workshops and meetings with the provincial and municipal teams.

The associate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure consistent and effective monitoring and evaluation of the project implementation, harvesting and dissemination of project lessons and experiences, and timely submission of project reports.

Requirements

Qualifications

With at least 5 years of relevant work experience in health and development sector
Preferably with a master’s degree or graduate units in public health, development or related studies
Good understanding of family planning, maternal and child health
Significant experience with local governments and working in Region 8
Exemplar skills in project implementation, training management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building activities
Computer and software literate
