Project Associate | MISP SRH

Job Description

The project Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) is a set of priority activities to be implemented during emergencies to prevent and manage consequences of RH issues and concerns, and plan for comprehensive RH services during recovery and rehabilitation phase of an emergency response. The Project Associate is responsible for the implementation of the project activities in the Region 4A, Region 5 and BARMM. The Associate will assist the Project Manager in the coordination and implementation of project activities. The associate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure consistent and effective monitoring of the project implementation, harvesting and dissemination of project lessons and experiences, and timely submission of project reports. The associate will assist the Learning and Development Associate in the development and conduct of the leadership course on SRH in emergencies. The Associate will also represent the project team in project activities, workshops and meetings with the provincial and municipal health teams.

Requirements

  • With at least 3 years of relevant work experience in health and development sector, leadership and governance
  • With at least 18 units of graduate studies in Public Health, Community Development, or alike

Qualifications

  • Has experience working with national government agencies working on MISP, and regional and local government stakeholders
  • Has competent skills in project implementation, training management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building activities
  • Has relevant knowledge in reproductive health, family planning, and SRH in emergencies
  • Has proven experience communicating effectively, building and maintaining strong relationships both externally and internally, including proven results working strategically with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent in facilitation, writing, diplomatic and interpersonal skills in meetings, data workshops, and stakeholder meetings
